‘It helps when the people delivering the training are practitioners, in schools, with real situations.’

Dave Rylance

Dave has worked in education for 24 years, in roles from Teaching Assistant to Head. He has worked with some of the most challenging students, including those exhibiting SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) issues, and other SEN, and has experience of outstanding settings as well as all the rest! He has been delivering behaviour management training for over a decade, using his own Awareness-Centred framework, to all sectors of education.

As well as running region wide workshops, Dave works with individual schools. Consulo can offer various training packages, which can include an impact assessment, behaviour ‘health checks’ and bespoke packages to suit individual need. Training for LSAs, NQTs, etc is available, as are drop in ‘surgeries’, Ofsted advice, policy scrutiny and troubleshooting for complex issues. Additionally, Dave is happy to discuss any issues which you feel you need support with; Consulo can be a valuable ‘problem solver’ to call upon!

‘When I first started teaching I had a terrible time at the school and received no support, which made me think it was all my fault! If I’d had this training and support, it would have made a massive difference.’

We’d be delighted to discuss your specific needs, so feel free to get in touch!
